VISTA HOUSE
We were contacted by the state of Oregon Historic
Preservation Office to assess the historic 1916 windows on the second floor balcony of the Vista House. Since the first floor windows were replaced with aluminum windows which were already failing, they wanted to keep as much of the original historic windows as possible. We repaired all existing windows in place over a period of three weeks at a cost of less than one third of replacement cost. Once again we have proven that restoration and preservation is more cost effective than replacement. A couple years later we were hired again to fabricate in place the missing fixed original windows on the first floor.
