We just returned from preserving the 84 operable windows in a private spanish mediterranean 1928 home. We brought down several of the windows matching originals that were previously replaced, stripped all windows, supplied, installed, and glazed over 700 panes of 1/4" laminated glass, applied two finish coats inside and out, and were still $200,000 less than the cost of new windows.
